Peugeot 504 Familiale

My comfortable trusty Peugeot 504 Familiale has been a reliable friend for many, many miles around Europe. Sure, it takes some sweat and TLC to get a 1977 car going, but it pays off in travelling at an easy pace with a high fun factor and simple technology to keep you going. Used and abused for almost 40 years, this comfortable seven seater is still a frequent seen taxi or goods transporter on the African continent.

It is said you are what you drive. In my case, I think this means I am a modest, friendly, non-conformist, non-aggressive, practical, handy and adventurous person! Join for a ride?

Want to see some 504 adventure pictures? Have a look in the 504 adventures page. For those interested in the TLC I gave the car during some sidewalk mechanic sessions, have a look at the Peugeot 504 Familiale TLC page. Did you know some claim it replaced the camel in African countries?
